Cubs trade for Bill Mueller

This is a solid move for the Cubs.  Mueller is not a headlines guy but instead a guy who brings stability.  He will hit for a decent average and play well above average at third base.  One could call him a poor man’s Mark Grace when it comes to his overall performance, however it is more important to have that type of player at third base, and get a big bat at first.  Giving up Worrell could only be considered a good move though if they sign Turk Wendell or John Franco, which they are trying to do.
